Amesbury’s 2022 Christmas Tree has been delivered and is up. Beautifully shaped but a little smaller, this year’s tree comes to us from a farm north of the border in Nashua, NH.
The tree lighting is December 3rd, immediately following the conclusion of the Amesbury Holiday Parade (the parade kicks off at 3:30 PM).
We’ve been lucky in the past that our trees have locally grown and provided by a resident or business. This year’s tree was generously donated by an individual who wishes to remain anonymous. In lieu of that donor pulling the lever to light tree, they instead asked if we could run a contest to benefit a local non-profit.
So, this year, the lever to light our 2022 Christmas Tree will be pulled by the winner of a contest where 100% of the proceeds will be donated, at the request of our tree donor, to the Amesbury Educational Foundation, Inc (AEFI). For $5.00 per ticket, you can enter for a chance to be selected. Santa will be drawing the winning name at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 1st for the December 3rd tree lighting.
If you would like to enter, please visit the link HERE. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter.
*In the future, if you would like to donate a tree – by helping us purchase one or donating a homegrown one – please contact the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce (yes, even today! It’s never too early to prep for *next* season!)
