Flair in the Square
Thursday, August 25th
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Gelatin printing is a form of mono printing in which a gelatin slab is used as a printing `plate’ in conjunction with standard water soluble paints to create images. Textures, patterns and stencils are used to make multiple layers within a single print. The application of this technique is endless and final prints can be used in a variety of ways.

The process is extremely simple, versatile and addictive. It is equally well suited for professional or novice printmakers, craft enthusiasts, professional artists, and children. No specific artistic ability is required to enjoy this exploratory, creative process!

The vision for Aumnii has always been to build a community of Artists, that work together to educate, inspire, and support each other dreams and passions. We work in harmony to showcase everyone’s creativity, individual talents, and unique inventory of products. And now our Workshops can do the same. These new workshops allow our Artist to teach their art in a fun, exciting and judgment-free atmosphere.

These stand-alone classes were developed in partnership with the Amesbury Cultural Council. They've been set-up to take place outdoors, with limited seating, so that each student can have an enjoyable experience. Participation is limited to 15 students for the 2 hour session. All materials will be provided. 

These stand-alone classes are open to adults and children alike, as long as children are capable of self-monitoring. Please pre-register (the fee for participating is $10.00, paid in advance). No experience required.

This is part of the Amesbury Chamber’s annual initiative to bring the community together in safe, responsible, and healthy ways right in our downtown. Sign-up, visit out downtown, and feel free to check out some of our businesses before or after creating!
